What is the application process for foil printing?
Foil printing is a two-step process that allows us to print your design with a shiny metallic finish. First, we screen print the shape of your design using an adhesive ink. Then, we then apply the foil over top of the adhesive, heat it to 300 degrees, and remove the excess leaving only the the shape of your design on the t-shirt.
What foil colors are available to choose from?
There is a large range of foil colors available! While we may not able to match an exact pantone specifically, we’ll work with you to look through our library of samples to find a custom color for your job.
Will adding foil printing to my design increase the turnaround time of my order?
Depending on the quantity of the order, it is possible that adding foil printing to your design could increase the overall turn time of your order by 5 to 10 days. Consult with your sales representative to get an accurate turnaround time.

Are there specific care instructions for this application?
Ink uses the highest quality foil applications. However, foil does have a tendency to tarnish or flake after numerous washes. Proper care can substantially increase the life of foil prints. When caring for your garments, be sure to:
- Turn foil printed garments inside out before washing.
- Launder using washing machine’s delicate cycle on cold or hand wash with cold water.
- Hang to dry.
- Never use an iron on a foil print.
